Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS)
The Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS) is the name of a federal law signed into law by the USA President, Barack Obama, in 2012. Companies, that in the last fiscal year have gross revenue less than $1 billion are freed by JOBS from some of the regulatory requirements and reporting of the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
Besides, JOBS includes special convention for startup companies crowdfunding. It allows everyone to buy securities from the startup companies, in order to invest in them.
